Citizens’ Service Center
In the service, advice and information office on the ground floor of the new city hall numerous services from various bureaus are available at once. The people of Linz can take care of all kinds of official business here quickly and unbureaucratically.
However, the Citizen’s Service Center also regards itself as the central point of information for general inquiries and issues relating to the City of Linz.
Monday through Thursday from 7 am to 6 pm
Friday from 7 am to 2 pm (by phone from 7 am to 6 pm)
Many of the services offered in the Citizen's Service Center can also be taken advantage of in the five city libraries comfortably close to a place of residence.
The staff of the service office that can be reached through the telephone number +43 7070 0 respond to the specific concerns of the callers. In many cases they can provide immediate and competent information and take care of various matters directly. If a concern cannot (yet) be conclusively taken care of, callers are connected through to the responsible City Administration staff.
The service office staff also answer e-mail inquiries about numerous city issues and ensure a professional treatment of wishes, suggestions and complaints.
The Teleservice Center can be reached from Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
